LOUIS WATT

Louis Watt is a consultant with the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) with strong connections to the arts world and the Middle East. Born in Abu Dhabi, Louis also grew up in Lebanon, Jordan, Pakistan and Egypt and retains personal ties to the region. In Lebanon he worked with Solidere where he focused on post-war urban redevelopment in central Beirut.

In London, Louis was one of the co-founders of Aurora Orchestra in 2005 and has been its Chairman since 2010. Over this time he has helped develop Aurora into one of the most versatile and celebrated chamber orchestras in the UK. Aurora's recent successes have included being the youngest ever recipient for the Royal Philharmonic Society's 'Best Ensemble' award, releasing a debut disc on Decca Classics, and staging a first televised BBC Prom. Louis is also actively involved in the opera world, including with Vignette Productions - a fringe opera company based in London.
