Virginia Forbes (CHAIRMAN)

Virginia Forbes divides her time between London and the USA, working privately for HRH Prince Turki al Faisal on a wide range of affairs. She has done research and analysis for HRH Prince Turki and the King Faisal Philanthropic Foundation, contributing to the King Faisal Memorial Exhibition which opened in Riyadh in 2008.
During Prince Turki’s ambassadorship in London, she worked with HRH Princess Nouf bint Fahd in her initiatives to support the Saudi Community in the United Kingdom and to introduce to the British public the vital and active role of Saudi women within their own society. In this she collaborated with London University’s School of Oriental and African Studies and Women in Business, amongst others, to set up conferences and seminars. When Prince Turki was ambassador in Washington, she assisted the Princess with her work with Mosaic, the well-established charity created by the wives of Arab ambassadors, with an emphasis on outreach initiatives to encourage greater understanding between the people of Saudi Arabia and the USA.
Virginia has also held various teaching and bi-lingual posts in Pakistan, Europe and with the Italian Embassy in Nairobi.
