Selma Feriani Gallery presents an exploration of Arabic fine calligraphy with Moroccan calligrapher Noureddine Daifallah, a teacher of fine arts in Marrakech. His new series of works revolve around the letter form of the Arabic Alphabet.

Working in a wide variety of sizes and proportions, the artist challenges calligraphic principles by rearranging passages of text according to his own artistic vision.

Part of Shubbak: A Window on Contemporary Arab Culture, a festival presented by the Mayor of London, from 4-24 July 2011.
