“This festival is a great opportunity to see the world through the eyes of Palestinians. They are one of the most oppressed peoples in the world. They see their land stolen, their houses destroyed and all aspects of daily life made intolerable. Despite this the spirit of resistance burns brightly. Their films, I’m sure, will surprise and delights us. And they deserve our presence, particularly since the bias of our mass media means their voices are seldom heard. Please come to this festival” – Ken Loach
