The 2010 Liverpool Arabic Arts Festival

A celebration of Arabic Arts and Culture

2 – 11 July 2010

Ten days packed full of music, dance, visual art, film, literature and food at venues across the city including the Bluecoat, FACT, Liverpool Philharmonic Hall and National Museums Liverpool.

Launching the festival will be the ever-popular free Family Day at the Bluecoat, bringing the sights and sounds of an Arabian bazaar to the heart of Liverpool. Other highlights include a rare UK performance from Egyptian music and film superstar, Mohamed Mounir at the Philharmonic Hall; Arabicity, an exhibition bringing together six thought-provoking artists from across the Arab world; and some great films including the first Palestinian animated feature, Fatenah.
