With immaculate timing akin to stand-up comedy, she discusses her newly published book Nothing To Lose But Your Life: An 18 Hour Journey with Murad, a gripping account of accompanying a group of Palestinian workers across the Separation Wall to find work in Israel.
Her book Sharon and My Mother-in-Law, translated into 17 languages, won the
prestigious Italian Viareggio Literary Prize (2004).
