The Association for the Promotion and Exhibition of Arts in Lebanon (APEAL) Presents

SUBTITLED: WITH NARRATIVES FROM LEBANON

Over thirty Lebanese artists will present thought-provoking pieces in the first comprehensive exhibition of contemporary Lebanese art at the Royal College of Art in London.

Using five themes to interpret Lebanon's rich, complex history by artists living in and outside of Lebanon, the exhibition will delve into Lebanon's socio-political realities and the determinant parameters which have shaped and influenced a unique trend of post war art.

The exhibition will be accompanied by a panel discussion on 3 November entitled 'Art, Testimonial, or Impulse to Looming Change?' which will include participating artists Nadim Karam, Nada Sehnaoui, Zena El-Khalil with former journalist and correspondent at The Washington Post Nora Boustany.

A private exhibition tour guided by curator Juliana Khalaf will take place on 5 November.
