We offer a range of activities and facilities in the Centre itself and elsewhere.
The highlight of our activities programme is the Arab British Culture and Society Award which recognises and celebrates the work of those involved in educating the British public about life, society and culture in the Arab world.
Culture & Society Award
Our annual prize celebrates the achievements of those who work to positively promote the Arab world and its people.
Classes
The Arab British Centre holds regular introductory courses of Arabic language and Arabic calligraphy.
Contemporary Arab Art
We invite the public to view our collection of contemporary artwork from around the Arab world; contact us for an appointment.
Library
Our library of books focused on the Arab world is open to the public for borrowing, appointments are a good idea.
Room Hire & Conferencing
We are able to offer a range of conference and meeting hire facilities close to the heart of the city at reasonable rates.
Grants
We offer modest grants to arts and cultural projects that improve the British public’s understanding of the Arab world.
