Breezin’ is a celebration of the life and works of Hasan Dhaimish (1955-2016), a Libyan artist and satirist. A selection of original vibrant paintings, expressing his love for music and colour will be on display, along with political cartoons that narrate Libya’s recent political landscape. The latter were produced by ‘Alsatoor’, Hasan’s pseudonym that he operated under for four decades.

This unique event being held in Hasan’s adopted home of Pendle celebrates a man who was loved by many across the world: his pupils at colleges in Burnley and Pendle; followers of Alsatoor’s work; friends, colleagues and family.
