• With special guest Saudi author Mohammed Hasan Alwan,
winner of this year’s International Prize for Arabic Fiction for his novel A Small Death,
on the travels of the famous Sufi mystic Ibn Arabi – from his birth in 1165, in Muslim Spain,
his heroic travels to Azerbaijan, via Morocco, Egypt, the Hijaz,
Syria, Iraq and Turkey to his death in 1240 in Damascus.

• Fleur Montanaro, IPAF Prize administrator,

• Walid Hamarneh of Qatar’s Sheikh Hamad Award for Translation and International Understanding,

• and Samuel Shimon, editor, Banipal magazine
