Taqasim Music School will run an open day on Saturday 13 January 2018 from 12 – 4 pm at The Arab British Centre to give prospective students the chance to discuss their musical interests with the teachers.

Both theory and instrumental practices will be demonstrated, including an explanation of the teaching methods used, the nature of the courses and suitability of the student to the requested musical instrument. Oud classes are run at different levels (beginners, intermediate, advanced), and there are two levels for Darbuka: Beginners and Intermediate.

If you wish, bring your instrument so that the teachers can have a look at it and help you in understanding if it will be sufficient for your studies. The teachers can also assist in stringing / tuning if needed.
