The Derwent Art Prize 2026 Exhibition

9 April '26 at 11:00 am - 19 April '26 at 6:00 pm

Sara Bali’s artwork, The Permanent Temporary, has been shortlisted for the prestigious Derwent Art Prize 2026. Selected from over 5,000 global entries, she is one of 71 artists invited to exhibit at the Oxo Gallery in London this April.

A Palestinian artist currently based in Norway, Bali’s work explores the internal and external landscapes of displacement. The Permanent Temporary depicts a room filled with moving boxes—a visual reflection of constant movement and the instability of life in transition. Through the meticulous detail of pencil drawing, the work captures the weight of a life that remains perpetually “packed up,” yet deeply rooted in identity.

Visitors are invited to experience the exhibition in person, alongside outstanding international pencil artworks from over 70 countries.

Support for Sara Bali’s work can be shown by voting for her in the People’s Choice Award via the link above.
