ABOUT TILKA
Seenaryo is screening their award-winning documentary TILKA at Genesis Cinema in Whitechapel on 15th January 2025. TILKA is an intimate portrait of five women in Lebanon who meet to create a collective piece of theatre. During the post-screening Q&A we’ll reflect on this seismic moment in the region and what lies ahead for the Lebanese, Syrian and Ethiopian women that we meet in TILKA.

Working in Lebanon, Jordan and Palestine, Seenaryo uses theatre and play to support people to heal, lead and learn. We co-create performances with under-served communities, train future leaders and transform classrooms through play.
