Lizzy has worked in the museum sector for over fifteen years most recently at the British Museum where she was responsible for developing the Museum’s international partnerships through consultancy and capacity building projects. She has worked with complex short and long-term projects particularly in Asia and the Middle East and through her museum work, she has seen how sharing the study of history and science can bring enormous benefits to society by fostering understanding of our shared past.
Prior to joining the British Museum, Lizzy was Head of International Exhibitions at the Natural History Museum with responsibility for business development and operations whilst overseeing the design and manufacture of exhibition elements to ensure their viability for touring internationally. She represented the Museum nationally and internationally, building partnerships with a large network of organisations involved in the public understanding of science.
