The Arab British Centre warmly welcomes applications to our new reviewers programme!

We are looking for people from all walks of life to join us in writing, or recording, reviews for cultural events happening nationally.

This could be attending a film screening, reading a new publication, devouring dishes at a new restaurant, soaking up musical talent, and much more.

Specifications

You will need to be unbiased, reliable, good with words (either written or spoken), and have an interest in Arab culture!

This is an unpaid opportunity, but all tickets/items for review will be free. We send out weekly or fortnightly emails with what’s coming up, and they will be shared out in a fair way across all our reviewers.

We expect around 400-600 words, and depending on the experience, an image taken by you (with consent) for the article/post.

As most of the events we cover are timely, we expect reviews to be submitted as soon as possible, ideally within 48 hours of attending. Book reviews can naturally have a longer deadline.
