Join Art Forward for an intimate evening of poetry and conversation with celebrated Iraqi poet, Nabeel Yasin.

This event is part of our ongoing exhibition, Voices from Exile, which brings together four Iraqi artists who’ve known home from afar, but continued to live and create as the children of one of world’s oldest civilisations. The exhibition collects work made over a 50-year period, exploring the alienation and nostalgia of exile through printmaking, photography and film.

Set against this powerful backdrop, the evening’s poetry will echo and expand on these themes, offering a live, personal exploration of exile, memory, and belonging in dialogue with the artworks on display.
