Film director Layla Triqui and film critic Dr Khalid Ali invite you to the screening of ‘Carved by the Wind’ (Morocco 2024, Arabic and French with English subtitles). Which will be followed with a discussion with Layla Triqui and lead actor, Mahmoud Nasr.

Set between Tangier and Bordeaux, the film is a poetic tale of cross-cultural identity, family secrets and reconciliation. It has won 7 national and international awards including the Golden Award at the Black Screen Festival in September 2025. The screening is supported by Medfest Egypt.
