Arab-Sicilian Civilisations Supper Club – food and music at Leighton House Museum

This evening will explore the fusion of Sicilian and Middle Eastern influences, as expressed through food and song. A celebration of the multiculturalism of this bygone era set in one of London’s most beautiful museums; in collaboration with Sakbeh and featuring opera performances by soprano Yara Zeitoun in Italian and Arabic, accompanied by pianist Zeynep Özsuca.

Guests will have the opportunity to explore the House and take in the spectacular Arab Hall. The ticket includes a complimentary drink on arrival, all food and entertainment; drinks during the meal purchased from the cash bar.

The Arab Hall at Leighton House Museum was inspired by the 12th century interiors of La Zisa palace in Sicily, which dates back to the time of the Arab and Norman presence on the island.
