Join us at Rich Mix for a conversation between practising artists and cultural practitioners on the many paths taken and the obstacles they have faced in their journey.

From female perspectives, we will hear how barriers have been broken, what issues we need to rally behind, and the hopeful future we can cultivate for Arab women in the arts.

The talk will be moderated by Heba Elkayal.

Heba Elkayal is a curator, writer and researcher based between Cairo and London, specializing in modern and contemporary Middle Eastern art. Heba regularly consults for auction houses and private collectors and works closely with emerging artists from the region.

The evening is presented by Arts Canteen in collaboration with Rich Mix.
