Concrete and the Immaterial is a research-led art exhibition and study programme drawn from five years of collaborative and individual art and research by Rita Haddoub and Paweł Dziadur. The work reflects on the interfaced city amidst developmental destruction, putting into conversation infrastructural shifts and industrial accelerations.
The exhibition features; field study footage titled ‘Photo-inquiry into Manufacturing Beirut’ (2025), interactive sculptures done during a Residency period at Boghossian foundation in Belgium(2023) , and a jacquard knits installation completed as part of the MFA Goldsmiths degree show(2021).
In extended conversation with the exhibition relating to themes of infrastructure studies, material cultures, technology, and political economy, two symposium days of artistic interventions, talks, and installations will be taking place on Thursday evenings.
