DzFest: The Algerian Festival for Arts & Culture will kick-off with “Elle-Djazair” an all-female exhibition curated by Toufik DOUIB of Algerianism.

Elle-Djazair explores contemporary chronicles of Algerian identity representation. As reflected through different visual mediums, from photography, digital art and performance, this collective show unveils powerful parallels between UK-Algeria Diaspora generations and the complex connections to the motherland.

Bringing together the work of renowned and established artists Houria Niati, Anissa Berkane, Hamida Zèd and Jamila Boughelaf for her debut exhibition of drawings & paintings and award-winning journalist & photographer Venetia Menzies.

The exhibition will run from Saturday 30 Sept – Oct 8, 2022.
