Iraqi Scribes Exhibition: Celebrating Iraqi Art, Heritage and Community

The Iraqi Scribes Exhibition brings together a collection of contemporary artworks celebrating Iraqi heritage, culture, identity and creativity from the Iraqi Scribes collective, a community of artists and creatives who use art and storytelling to explore and celebrate Iraqi culture and heritage.

Originally presented as a smaller display at Willesden Green Library, the project has now expanded into a full exhibition featuring a wider selection of artworks and stories from the Iraqi Scribes community.

Visitors are invited to explore the work of artists inspired by Iraq’s rich cultural heritage, from its history and traditions to its people, places and contemporary identity.
