Letters from Baghdad Film Screening

13 September '17 at 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm

Join us for a special fundraising screening of Letters from Baghdad.

Letters from Baghdad, a documentary film directed by Sabine Krayenbühl and Zeva Oelbaum tells the extraordinary and dramatic story of Gertrude Bell, the most powerful woman in the British Empire in her day. She shaped the destiny of Iraq after World War I in ways that still reverberate today. More influential than her friend and colleague Lawrence of Arabia, why has she been written out of the history she helped make?

Tickets to this special screening can be purchased here
