(ONLINE WORKSHOP) Love and Relationships: Thinking Differently

29 March '20 at 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm

One of Palestine’s most exciting contemporary artists, Riham Isaac, is asking the world to think differently about love.

During this participatory virtual workshop you will use different mediums, the body, music, text and objects, to explore what love means to you.

Share your own perspectives on love in a safe and inclusive online space from the comfort of your own home.

No past artistic experience necessary. Sign up at lovethinkingdifferently.eventbrite.com

Riham Isaac is a multidisciplinary artist and facilitator from Palestine, she utilises an intuitive process to create work by engaging in authentic play. Riham runs an arts space in Bethlehem and in 2017, co-created The Alternativity with Danny Boyle and Banksy (as seen on BBC2).

This workshop explores the themes of her current performance project – Another Lover’s Discourse, presented as part of Arab Women Artists Now (AWAN) Festival. Riham’s creative practice spans performance, movement, video, writing and drawing.

Produced with funding and support from Arab Women Artists Now – AWAN Festival; Arts Council England, the cultural resource within Wijhat ‘destinations’ program and Palestinian National Theater (Alhakawati). Further supported by Theatre Deli, Stratford Circus, artsadmin and Battersea Arts Centre.
