Join us for Poetry in the City, a three-part poetry slam celebrating Al Mutanabbi, supporting HFEH Mind’s Thirty for 30K Campaign and the short film Ashes of a Dying Ember, which explores mental health in refugee communities.

Aspiring poets can perform an original verse inspired by Al Mutanabbi. Judges include Ruth O’Callaghan, Charnjit Gill, Sami Rhymes, Arun Jeetoo, Reem Maghribi, and Layla Maghribi.

This event raises awareness of mental health and migration through poetry, storytelling, and performance.
