Le Mirage follows Nour’s poignant journey from his motherland to hopeful shores, seeking a brighter future. Amid perilous seas and harsh realities, he navigates hope and disillusionment. Alongside newfound friends, Nour’s quest highlights the challenges of migrants pursuing their dreams.

Le Mirage is a production by Bahatha Theatre, an independent Theatre group founded in 2019, dedicated to deep exploration of collective identity. BAHATHA means “search or quest” in Arabic, reflecting their mission to create captivating theatrical experiences which question the multifaceted Algerian identity.

Bahatha Theatre are bringing this stunning piece to Chelsea Theatre as part of the annual DZ Fest, the first Algerian Festival for Arts and Culture in the UK. 2024 marks its second edition in a continuous effort by the Algerian diaspora and Algerian community in the UK to promote and celebrate its culture.

Original music by Award-Winning pianist and composer Yanis Taleb who will accompany the play.
