The Directors of Bonhams invite you to an exclusive evening celebrating the book launch of Jewad Selim, Catalogue raisonné of Paintings and Sculptures, published by Skira Editore.

In conversation with Nima Sagharchi, Group Head of Middle-Eastern Art and co-author of the catalogue raisonné, joined by Zaineb Jewad Selim and Miriam Knight, daughters of the artist, and moderated by Nada Shabout, professor of art history and coordinator of the Contemporary Arab and Muslim Cultural Studies Initiative at the University of North Texas.

Bonhams is also delighted to bring the exhibition Jewad Selim: A New Life to New Bond Street, London from 24 to 28 February 2025. The exhibition will cover Selim’s oeuvre, including some of the very first works he produced in his early 20s, right through to his mature period in the 1940s and early 50s.
