Dalya Cohen-Mor is a literary scholar of Middle Eastern background educated in the Netherlands and the United States. She received her PhD in Arabic Language and Literature from Georgetown University and is currently affiliated with George Washington University. Her book A Matter of Fate received the Outstanding Academic Title Award from Choice magazine. The present volume complements her recent work Mothers and Daughters in Arab Women’s Literature: The Family Frontier.
