“The soundtrack for Arab youth” – Vice

47Soul established themselves as a reference point in Arab youth culture.

The four member group came together in Jordan in 2013 after exchanging tracks over the internet. They specialise in a cheerfully widescreen fusion of electronic hip-hop and traditional dabke dance music, mixed in with a dash of reggae, sturdy melodies, and chanting vocals that alternate between English and Arabic. The genre is fast becoming a symbol of Arab youth culture, offering a necessary and refreshing change to the common representation.

After releasing their debut EP thanks to a crowdfunding campaign, they started touring the world to spread their universal message: emphasize unity by accepting diversity.

Kefaya, international music collective formed and led by London-based musicians & producers Giuliano Modarelli and Al MacSween, will be joining 47Soul to deliver their unique blend of global folk rhythms and cutting-edge, 21st century sound.
