The UK Friends of Spafford Children’s Center invite you to join them for this special evening in London with the author, Matthew Teller. Matthew will present his widely-acclaimed book “The Nine Quarters of Jerusalem: A New Biography of the Old City”, share further stories and pictures from Jerusalem, answer questions and sign books.
Doors will open at 6pm for a buffet mezze of Palestinian food along with a glass of wine or mint lemonade. His book will be on sale for £16.99/copy and he will be happy to dedicate and sign them.
There will be other items for sale that make great Christmas gifts, including recipe books by Joudie Kalla, copies of ‘Our Jerusalem’ by Bertha Spafford Vester, handmade olive wood items and Palestinian food products, as well as Christmas cards.
All proceeds from the evening will directly support the Spafford Children’s Center in Jerusalem.
