IRAQNOPHOBIA @ The Harrison

13 March '24 at 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm

It’s 20 years since the Iraq War and Jenan wants to talk about it. Join BBC New Voices winner, star of BBC’s Radio’s Jenan’s Comedy Hour and founder of Guardian-recommended Weapons of Mass Hilarity for an hour and a bit of new material about the Iraq War, being a model minority, selective empathy and the 1001 microaggressions she’s accumulated over the years. ‘Sharp, hip. smart comedian… not to be missed!’ (List). ‘Unique viewpoint’ (Chortle.co.uk). ‘An accomplished impressionist’ (Middle East Review). The show will be supported by Iraqi comedian Usif Musa whose anecdotal style tackles dual heritage upbringing. Please note doors will open at at 6:30pm with show starting promptly at 7pm. Latecomers will not be admitted. The show will take place in the downstairs space of the venue. 16+ rating.
