JENANISTAN work in progress stand up comedy show

19 February '22 at 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm

BBC New Voices winner, Amused Moose National New Act Finalist and 99 Comedy Club Bursary Nominee, Jenan Younis brings you a work-in-progress show of what it means to be “ethnic” in modern Britain. Her dad is Palestinian, her mum Iraqi, but the closest to the West Bank she’s got to is the west bank off the River Thames. Growing up Middle Eastern in middle class middle England makes it pretty tricky being your ethnic self, especially when you’re an ethnicity rarer than an unfiltered Kardashian photo.
