‘Open Call’ for GLOBAL CITIZEN Smartphone Short Film Festival

This first juried edition of CARAVAN’s Smartphone Short Film Festival is focused on what it means to be a “global citizen” in today’s world of challenges, conflicts and complexities. As earth’s inhabitants, anyone around the world with a Smartphone (not just “filmmakers”) is invited to share their vision by producing a film that is three (3) minutes or less in length, of what it means to be a responsible member of this “global family,” toward making our world more equal, fair, peaceful and sustainable. There are 1st, 2nd, 3rd and Honorable Mention Awards and CASH Prizes. The deadline for film submissions is August 16, 2019. CARAVAN is hoping to have as many as possible from around the world participate by submitting a short film on the “global citizen” theme produced from a Smartphone.
