Lana Homeri invites you to a yogic journey for renewal and emergence. The session supports embodied awareness with meditation and gentle movement seated in chairs. Lana facilitates trauma-informed restorative practices that help mitigate the negative impact of stress and trauma. The arc of the restorative practice aims to rewire our nervous system and reprogram our beings with tonalities of safety, empowerment, and resilience.
Lana intends this circle to provide an ecological space for a sacred pause that supports the nervous system’s digestive capacity for healing and restoration. She suggests that from this place we are able to investigate our own patterns of tension and hold ourselves unconditionally and tenderly. This tenderness towards ourselves and each other offers us an opportunity and spaciousness for the potential of release and radical transformation.
The session is inspired by the words of author Octavia Butler: ‘All that you touch you Change. All that you Change Changes you. The only lasting truth is Change.’ and writer Bayo Akomolafe: ‘The times are urgent. Let us slow down.’
