SOAS Radio and St Mary’s Music Hall have teamed up to present an exclusive showcase of music, featuring students and alumni of SOAS University of London (School of Oriental and African Studies). The evening’s four ensembles draw on musical traditions from around the world – Arabic Maqam, Chinese Contemporary, Indian Raga and Tuscan Folk music. Award-winning artists featured include Oxford Maqam, Reylon Yount, Stornelli and Budhaditya Bhattacharyya below. Along with the music, the evening will also feature ‘In conversation with’ interviews between the artists and SOAS Radio DJs.
