27 February '18 at 6:15 pm to 7:45 pm

A lecture by Kettle’s Yard Director and curator of Actions. The image of the world can be different Andrew Nairne, followed by a discussion with artist Issam Kourbaj. Find out about the ideas behind the making of our reopening exhibition.

Inspired by an exchange of letters between the 20th Century visionart, Constructivist artist Naum Gabo and art critic Herbert Read, Actions, reflects the energising diversity of art now and seeks to reassert the potential of art as a poetic, social and political force in the world.

The galleries, shop and café will be open until 6pm on the 27th of February. This event will be followed by a glass of wine, included in the ticket price.

Tickets are £15 (£12 Friends of Kettle’s Yard/ £8 full- time students).
