The Scorpios play live at The Mosaic Rooms. The group bring their raw sounds to meld Arab rhythms, heavy bass and percussion to give an Eastern Funk feel. Hailing from Central Sudan, now based in London, they are supported by an international backing band. Their music drives through traditional Sudanese forms to create a sound that owes as much to Detroit as it does to Khartoum.

The Scorpios recently released their single Mashena on Afro 7 records and will be releasing a second album recorded at Abbey Road Studios later this year.
