The Syrian Society at SOAS University are hosting a movie fundraiser charity night where we will be screening the movie We Dare to Dream. The movie follows the lives of athletes on their journey to become part of the Olympic refugee team. The director is Syrian and she will be attending the event and doing a Q&A with the audience afterwards, her name is Waad Al-Kateab. All of the money raised will be going to students at the Free Aleppo University to help pay for their accommodation cost. We will be providing snacks for people to break their fast together. The event is open to the public, and the movie is PG so people can bring their children.
