Workshop for Families | Tools for Solidarity

31 May '23 at 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm

‘Solidarity’ is a word that is often uttered by adults, but where do the solidarities of young people lie?

Join RESOLVE Collective and use locally foraged materials (e.g. wood, paper, cardboard, fabric) to create personalised, DIY tools for communicating messages of hope, strength, and solidarity.

Exploring, discussing, and reflecting on the issues and injustices that young participants and their families feel strongly about, this workshop will use art, architecture, and design to amplify our voices.

All ages are welcome; however, the workshop activities may be best suited for children aged 4 – 12. All materials (e.g. wood, paper, cardboard, fabric) will be provided. Please note that all children will need to be accompanied by a guardian at all times.
