French-Lebanese songstress, Yara Lapidus, has a voice from the land of the Cedar; deep, velvety, and made of a grain as soft as an embrace.
In 2018, she released her long-awaited French album, Indéfiniment, with Grammy and Oscar award-winning composer and producer, Gabriel Yared (The English Patient, Cold Mountain). The heartfelt, poignant and completely intoxicating project is the culmination of two years of writing, recorded between Paris and Abbey Road Studios. The pair enlisted forty-three musicians throughout the recording process to bring the album to fruition.
In her Crazy Coqs debut, Yara promotes the new international album, due for release in February 2019, which includes Encor Encor featuring Iggy POP. The album showcases Yara’s hypnotising vocals in English, French and Arabic.
