Young Muslim Voices at Rich Mix

14 October '19 at 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm

Put yourself in the shoes of another person for a unique evening of storytelling, and join us to hear the stories of young Muslims from around the UK, performed by a diverse cast of actors.

After a hugely successful first event last year at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, the Young Muslim Voices project is bringing more stories to the UK stage, aiming to share the stories with as wide an audience as possible and in doing so, challenging perceptions and promoting a community of diversity.

The production is directed by the acclaimed Iqbal Khan and features an amazing cast including Nikesh Patel, Waleed Elgadi & Amir El- Masry.

VOICES, a social start-up, has been taking submissions from young Muslims over the last year – some of which will be performed during this evening. Voices aims to creatively challenge perceptions through the sharing and telling of people’s stories.

10% of the revenue is donated to The Muslim Hands UK.
